Rookie Pitches His Way to LQU Trophy Wednesday, August 1st , 1888 One of the hottest hurlers in the Liga Quisqueya last month was Marquis Marshall of the Saint-Marc Tempete. He caught the attention of everybody in the league with some solid stats, good enough to win the LQU Rookie of the Month. In July Marshall starred with an impressive 3 and 4 record. In 8 starts he gave up 45 base hits and struck out 14 in 60.1 innings with a 3.13 ERA. In 20 starts this year Marshall has crafted a 11-8 record and a 3.20 ERA. |
