Martín Ruiz found his groove in today's game versus the Camaguey Tinajones and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-6 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Santa Clara Leopardos, as the club lost the game, 10-8.

The 35-year-old center fielder told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."

"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Ruiz said.

Martín Ruiz flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
