Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Rojos
Artemisa starter José Barreto pitched well against the Matanzas Henequeneros at Recinto de Artemisa. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-5. The Rojos raised their record to 56-33.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the ninth, Buenaventura Cadena had a chance to be the hero. Matanzas pitcher Brent Mattern had other ideas. But with two outs, Cadena hit a run-scoring single. The Rojos had themselves a dramatic win.

"This joint was rocking," said Cadena.
