Galarza Homers Twice in 14-10 Pecan Kings Win
The Tyler Pecan Kings beat the Waco Mammoths, 14-10, at Pecan Kings Stadium. Próspero Galarza hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 5. The 34-year old catcher was a menace to Waco all day. Tyler reliever Ramón Escalante picked up the win, upping his record to 3-6. Jalen Langford was saddled with the loss. The Pecan Kings now have a record of 24-27 with the win over Waco.

With one out in the bottom of the eighth, Ramón Escalante had a game-changing hit. The Pecan Kings pitcher slammed a 2-run single off Cresencio Ramírez, making the score 12-10, Tyler.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Escalante said.
