It was a high-five day for Carlos de Jesús, at least for a while.

The Nacogdoches right fielder got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Tyler Pecan Kings, but they were in short supply at the end, as Tyler took a 13-12 win. de Jesús finished with an impressive 5-for-6 line, but the Roaches couldn't hold off the Pecan Kings.

"Carlos was hitting everything," said Roaches manager Joe Moffet. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion."

Carlos de Jesús singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and tripled in the 9th.
