With 9-6 Win, Horizons Improve to 27-24
No one was more impactful than Mike Hanlon in the 9-6 Amarillo win over Wichita Falls. Hanlon, who finished 3rd in the WTXA in batting average with .338 last year, went 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Horizons, at 27-24, sit in third place in the Association of Western Texas Abilene Circuit.

Hanlon had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 fastball from Jesús Reyes, he banged a bases-clearing triple to right-center, giving the Horizons a 8-5 lead. It was the 4th triple of the year for Hanlon.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Hanlon.
