Henequeneros Use Late Rally to Win 4th Straight
The Matanzas Henequeneros overcame a fine performance by Almendares left fielder Adelmo Ramírez to defeat the Alacranes, 4-3, at Campo de los Henequeneros. Ramírez was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Matanzas is now riding a 4-game win streak.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Matanzas first baseman Gilberto Águila, facing Nemesio Hinojos, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Henequeneros the 4-3 win.
