Ingenieros Advance to Serie Interdivisional Friday, October 29th , 1897 The Rincon Ingenieros will continue their playoff march, after a 3-1 Serie Eliminatoria victory over the Guanica Amigos. The series wrapped up at Parque de Guánica with a 6-5 win, propelling Rincon to the Serie Interdivisional. Series MVP Atanasio Arredondo called it a "total team effort" by his club. The Rincon Ingenieros will play against the Mayaguez Capitanes in the next round. Mayaguez won their series against the Trujillo Alto Macabeos 3 games to 0.
