Atleticos Snap Carlos's Streak at 33 Sunday, October 10th , 1897 Juan Carlos's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 33 games today as the Quebradillas Piratas dropped their contest with the San German Atleticos 4-1 at Campo de los Piratas. Carlos failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Carlos spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. This year Carlos is batting .391 with 227 hits, 6 home runs, 107 RBIs, 51 walks, .440 OBP and has scored 119 runs. |
