Carlos's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Thursday, September 23rd , 1897 Piratas left fielder Juan Carlos has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-3 in today's game against the Utuado Montaneses. Quebradillas won the ballgame 8-1. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Juan Carlos singled in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. In 1897 Carlos has hit at a .387 clip with 203 hits, 6 home runs, 99 RBIs and has scored 106 times. |
