Waco Rookie Humbles TLEA Hitters Wednesday, August 1st , 1888 Justin Northam was in a zone all last month and zeroed in on the Eastern Association Rookie of the Month crown. In July the Waco pitcher had a 6-1 record and breezed through opposing lineups, holding them to a .209 batting average. He started 7 games, threw 62 innings with 26 strikeouts and 6 walks. He also fashioned a fine 1.74 ERA. This season Northam has compiled a 16-14 mark with a 2.19 ERA. |
