TLEA Premier Player Picked Monday, July 23rd , 1888 The votes have been cast and counted and the winner of the Eastern Association Player of the Week has been chosen. It was presented earlier today to Heraclio Segura for his red-hot week of hitting. The Galveston third baseman took home the trophy by splurging with 13 hits in 23 at-bats for a .565 batting average, driving in 7 runs and scoring 7 times.
