The Prescott Lynx clobbered the Phoenix Gila Monsters, 12-1, at Lynx Park. Prescott first baseman Brian Bishop led the onslaught. He went 4-4 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the win, the Lynx have a record of 39-74.
Antonio Colin had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Prescott. With the bases loaded and the Lynx leading 2-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
Lynx manager David Schmitt had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
