Werewolves Get 6-5 Win Versus Albuquerque
The Los Lunas Werewolves did just enough to secure a victory over the Albuquerque Dukes, 6-5, at Los Lunas Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Mike McDaniel. McDaniel went the distance for Los Lunas. He gave up 5 runs on 10 hits. The win puts the Werewolves at 26-24, while the Dukes drop to 30-20.

In the bottom of the seventh, Los Lunas shortstop James McElrath hit a run-scoring single to center field. The clutch hit made it, 4-3, Werewolves.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said McElrath.
