The rain came, as predicted, but the Ciudad Juarez Nortenos and Samalayuca Enjambre were able to complete their ballgame.

Ciudad Juarez picked up a win at Nortenos Park, bumping off the Samalayuca Enjambre, 5-3. Pitcher Miguel Montes was a major reason the Nortenos emerged victorious. With the win, Ciudad Juarez improves its record to 4-4.

The Nortenos got a big hit from catcher Ismael Costello. In the bottom of the fifth, Costello pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 2nd double of the season put the Nortenos ahead, 5-0.

Montes said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."
