Tortugas Suffer 3-2 Setback
The Villalba Avancinos topped the Culebra Tortugas, 3-2, in Liga Hostos action at Estadio de Villalba. The standout performance belonged to Villalba pitcher and Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, native Zósimo Campos. The Avancinos are now 84-49, while the Tortugas fall to 61-72.

Emanuel Acosta dealt the Tortugas a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Villalba leading 2-0, Acosta, who is tied for 9th in the LH with a .368 batting average, hit a 1-2 slider for a run-scoring single.

Campos said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
