Bayamo Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Bayamo Rafagas did just enough to sneak past the Camaguey Tinajones, 9-8, at Parque de Bayamo. Bayamo second baseman Semónides Sena, in particular, had a standout performance. Bayamo reliever Bernal Sánchez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. John Truan shouldered the loss. The second-place Rafagas raised their record to 38-37.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 8-8, pinch hitter Delfín Fajardo won it for Bayamo. With a runner on 3rd, Fajardo hit a 3-1 sinker from John Truan for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 9-8 win.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Sena said in his postgame press conference.
