Capitanes Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
Mayaguez picked up a win at Parque de los Capitanes, bumping off the Rincon Ingenieros, 4-3. Pitcher Manuel Martínez was a major reason the Capitanes emerged victorious. With the loss, Rincon is 16-6.

The Capitanes relied on shortstop Segundo Román for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"Win or lose, it's not the end of the world," said Román.
