Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Avancinos
The Carolina Gigantes got a sterling performance from second baseman Alfredo Infante, but the Villalba Avancinos still prevailed, 9-8. Infante was 5-6 with a triple, 2 doubles, and 2 singles. "We had a chance to win," said Carolina manager Julián Febus, "but we didn't get it done."
