López Lifts Peregrinos to 16-4 Win
The Hormigueros Peregrinos cruised to a win over the Juncos Valencianos, 16-4, at Parque de los Peregrinos. Gualberto López led the way, going 2-for-4 for Hormigueros. Hormigueros pitcher Heraclio Morán got the win. He's now 20-19. Nicolás Noriega was tagged with the loss. The 'W' lifts Hormigueros's record to 64-65.

The Peregrinos got a big at-bat from first baseman Ángel Ramírez. For the game, Ramírez went 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Hormigueros a 4-2 lead.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," López said after the game.
