The Newport Stevedores picked up a win at Bishops Park, knocking off the Bangor Bishops, 7-6. On the mound for Newport was left-hander Douglas Stevens, who played a pivotal role in the win. After today's action, Newport sits at 40-33, while Bangor falls to 33-40.
