Behind the hitting of Jake Gettman, the Aberdeen Granite stopped the Perth Caber Tossers, 7-6. Gettman went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Granite. Louis Foran finished to wrap up his 5th save. Aberdeen is now 32-32, while Perth is 28-36.

With Aberdeen leading 4-1 in the top of the seventh, Gettman hit a slider from Kai Cockle for a bases-clearing double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Granite ahead, 7-1.
