The Cardiff Arcadians picked up a win at Arcadians Field, knocking off the Wrexham Druids, 3-2. On the mound for Cardiff was left-hander Connor Griffiths, who played a pivotal role in the win. In 9 innings, Griffiths surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs.

The Arcadians procured the win, in large part because of center fielder Simon Evans. In the bottom of the ninth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Evans.
