The Wrexham Druids picked up a win at Arcadians Field, knocking off the Cardiff Arcadians, 5-4. On the mound for Wrexham was right-hander David Hamilton, who played a pivotal role in the win. Wrexham has an impressive 36-17 record.

An important at-bat for Wrexham came with two out in the top of the seventh. With the bases loaded, Hamilton hit a run-scoring single, which contributed to the Druids win.

"It was our day today," Hamilton told the Wrexham Daily. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
