Copper Lords Deal Bishops 3-2 Loss
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Swansea Copper Lords and Bangor Bishops.

Leandro Montero pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Bangor Bishops, despite Montero's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Swansea Copper Lords at Bishops Park. Gus Williams earned the save for Swansea, his 1st of the year.

Swansea pinch hitter Enrique Salinas helped the Copper Lords go up, 3-2, in the top of the 11th inning. With the game tied, Salinas hit a run-scoring single off Bangor pitcher Leandro Montero.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Swansea manager Vincent Kempton.

Swansea is in last place in the All-Team Circuit Undeb Pel-fas Cymru with a record of 15-31.
