Shipwrights Earn 3-2 Win Versus Caber Tossers
The Glasgow Shipwrights topped the Perth Caber Tossers, 3-2, in Great British Base-Off action at Glasgow Grounds. The game was highlighted by the performance of Glasgow pitcher Gelasio Pérez. Glasgow reliever Rhys Hunter picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Peter Langridge absorbed the loss. The victory gives Glasgow a record of 28-14.

The Shipwrights relied on third baseman Joel Andrews for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"Credit where credit is due," said Andrews, "this was a team win."
