The Wrexham Druids topped the Swansea Copper Lords, 5-2, in Great British Base-Off action at Copper Lords Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Wrexham pitcher Peter Butler. Butler, now 8-2, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 5, and allowing 2 runs. The first-place Druids raised their record to 24-7.

Wrexham relied on the hitting of Leucipo Rael to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the fifth inning to put the Druids on top, 5-0. For the game, Rael had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
