Arcadians Roll to 10-2 Win Over Bishops
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Cardiff Arcadians and Bangor Bishops.

The Cardiff Arcadians thumped the Bangor Bishops, 10-2, at Arcadians Field. Simon Evans was a big reason his team got the win. Evans went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times. Ashley Watts, the winner, goes to 4-4. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts over 9 innings.

Cardiff pitcher Ashley Watts contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a changeup into center field for a 2-run single. It was his 4th hit of the season and put the Arcadians ahead, 4-2.

"The Arcadians definitely had our number," said Bangor manager Lou Meyers.

With the win, Cardiff improves its record to 9-13.
