Arcadians Earn 3-2 Road Win Over Newport
The Cardiff Arcadians picked up a win at Newport Grounds, knocking off the Newport Stevedores, 3-2. Starting pitcher Ashley Watts was a big reason why. With the win, Cardiff elevates its record to 6-10.

Cardiff used a timely hit from Conor Mullen to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Arcadians ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Mullen said.
