Tyler and Nacogdoches got after it at Pecan Kings Stadium.

The Tyler Pecan Kings picked up a win at Pecan Kings Stadium, taking down the Nacogdoches Roaches, 5-3. Starting pitcher Josh Dalton was a big reason why. Tyler, at 30-46, occupies last place in the Association of Eastern Texas Galveston Circuit.

In the bottom of the second, José Hernández hit a 2-run home run. The 1st home run of the season for the Tyler catcher put the Pecan Kings on top, 3-1.

"Winning is the only objective," said Hernández after the game.
