The New Braunfels Yodelers did just enough to sneak past the Nacogdoches Roaches, 7-6, at Yodelers Field. New Braunfels first baseman Dylan Collins, in particular, had a standout performance. Cameron Gray was the winning pitcher. Over 9 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 13 hits, with no walks and 1 strikeout. The Yodelers, now 26-24, know that wins in August count the same as wins in September.

Collins contributed in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped New Braunfels get the win.

"I believe in our guys," said New Braunfels skipper Billy Riley. "I like the energy they're playing with."
