The San Marcos Cadavers picked up a win at Cadavers Park, courtesy of Ken Crabbe. The right-hander helped his team stop the Tyler Pecan Kings, 3-2. Crabbe got the win, improving to 3-5. He allowed 8 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. Crabbe allowed 2 runs. San Marcos bumps their record to 10-13 with the win.
San Marcos shortstop Alfie Kenny had a key at-bat for the Cadavers in the bottom of the eighth inning. Facing right-hander Narciso Cortez, Kenny hit a 2-run home run. It put San Marcos in front, 3-2. For the day, Kenny went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"That's baseball," said Tyler manager Marshall Locke. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
