Abilene picked up a win at Preachers Park, toppling the Amarillo Horizons, 8-5. Pitcher Simón Galván was one of the reasons the Preachers triumphed. The victory gives Abilene a record of 37-25.

Louie Rushton helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 5-0, Preachers.

"We'll savor this win," Rushton told the Abilene Chronicle, "then get ready for the next game."
