Derby starter Stephen Thompson kept the London hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a win, 12-2. The Fog drop to 5-9.

Ildefonso Batres, the 23-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Batres contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Derby up, 3-0.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Derby manager Aaron Beynon.
