Bishops Down Copper Lords, 7-5

The Swansea Copper Lords got a superb performance from pitcher Rod Paz. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Bangor. The Bishops won the game, 7-5. Paz came in in relief and pitched to 22 batters. Early on, the Bishops, at 10-2, have played an impressive brand of baseball.
Bangor used a well-timed hit by Orlando Salvador to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Bishops ahead, 5-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Salvador, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
