Earle Leads Reds to 11-4 Win Over Beaneaters
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Reds beat the Beaneaters.

A 4-RBI performance from the three-time All-Star Billy Earle helped the Cincinnati Reds beat the Boston Beaneaters, 11-4. Bill Paquet earned the win for Cincinnati. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 11 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 7-5.

With Cincinnati leading 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Earle hit a 2-run single off Boston hurler Bob Black. It was the 57th hit of the season for Earle and put his team ahead, 6-3.

"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said Earle.
