Brooklyn and Cincinnati exchanged punches and in the end the Bridegrooms won the slugfest.

The Brooklyn Bridegrooms grabbed a win, 15-12, over the Cincinnati Reds at League Park II 1894-1901. Brooklyn center fielder Bill Hughes was 2-4 with a triple and a walk.
