In a sharp 5-hit performance, Peek-A-Boo Veach led the Cincinnati Reds to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates, fanning 6 and walking 0.

"That's as good of stuff as I've seen in a long time," Pittsburgh manager Bill Leisz said in a postgame interview.
