The Sheffield Talons outlasted Jeff Bell and the Derby Rams, 10-9. Bell was impressive in the loss. The Derby left fielder was 5 for 6 with a home run, a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. At 2-1, the Talons have played well so far.

The Talons procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Andrew Reilly. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Reilly said.
