Simeón Santillán was instrumental in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Perth Caber Tossers. The catcher was 3 for 6 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times for the Edinburgh Claymores. The Claymores, now 3-0, have been playing some good baseball.

The Claymores procured the win, in large part because of first baseman Sam Innes. In the bottom of the 15th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
