The San Juan Metropolitanos topped the Juncos Valencianos, 5-4, in Liga Betances action at Parque de San Juan. The game was highlighted by the performance of San Juan pitcher Divino Sánchez. Sánchez went the distance for San Juan. He gave up 4 runs on 10 hits. With the win, San Juan goes to 69-50, while the Valencianos fall to 34-84.

In the bottom of the seventh, San Juan right fielder Honesto Hurtado hit a run-scoring single to center field. The clutch hit made it, 5-4, Metropolitanos.
