Bayamon starter Divino Tamayo had a strong outing against the Villalba Avancinos at Estadio de Villalba. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-1 win. Bayamon now sits in second place in the Liga Hostos Metro Oeste at 63-53.

Bayamon grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Tamayo, who finished 5th in the LH in innings pitched with 419.2 in 1895, hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Vaqueros out in front, 3-0.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Tamayo told the Bayamon Citizen.
