Arroyo Bucaneros hurler Edelmiro Romero was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Coamo Maratonistas, shutting them out 3-0 on 7 hits.

"Edelmiro was very aggressive tonight," Arroyo manager Rolando Cervantes said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."

"He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Alonso Briseño said. "Romero has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
