The Toa Baja Llaneros did just enough to secure a victory over the Fajardo Cariduros, 2-1, at Estadio de Toa Baja. Nobody did more than pitcher Uriel Corrales. Corrales, now 22-16, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Toa Baja is now 57-46, Fajardo 58-45.

In the bottom of the fifth with two out, the Llaneros were let down by their defense. With Toa Baja trailing 1-0, Corrales hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It could have been more costly, but the Llaneros were able to get the win.
