A 4-RBI performance from the 1883 Novato Nobilísimo winner Baldomero Barajas helped the Orocovis Caciques beat the Ciales Valerosos, 9-6. Cleto Arocho notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Facundo Ramos got credit for the save for Orocovis. It was his 1st of the year.

Barajas had a game-changing triple in the top of the tenth. On a 1-0 sinker from Ramón Mejía, he banged a bases-clearing triple to center, giving the Caciques a 9-6 lead. It was the 3rd triple of the year for Barajas.

"Exciting game to play in," said Barajas. "Getting the win makes it even better."

Ciales is 7-5 after the defeat.
