Guanica rode a good effort from starter Adelio Sigala to beat the San German Atleticos at Parque de Guánica. The final score was 8-2. The Amigos, now 8-2, have had a terrific start to the season.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Telégono Palacios was at the plate when Guanica scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Amigos to go in front, 3-2.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Sigala.
