German Hurls Orioles to Shutout Victory
|
Les German came out firing strikes and when the game ended, the Baltimore Orioles hurler had struck out 4, leading Baltimore past the Columbus Solons, 4-0. German allowed just 2 hits in the ballgame.
"I'm glad that one is in the rearview mirror," said Columbus manager Fraley Rogers.
To date this year German has compiled a 16-27 mark with a 3.62 ERA in 41 starts.
