Boston Reds starter Toad Ramsey turned in a workmanlike performance against the Baltimore Orioles at Congress Street Grounds. Boston now sits at 67-48, while Baltimore falls to 51-64.

The Reds got a big at-bat from third baseman Kieron Goodall. For the game, Goodall went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 4 runs. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 16th double of the season gave Boston a 7-4 lead.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Boston manager Ed Caskin.
