Boston Reds starter Scott Stratton was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Baltimore Orioles, 6-3. Boston is now 66-48, Baltimore 51-63.

Had Chicken Wolf not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Wolf hit a bases-clearing triple. That made the score 6-3, in favor of the Reds.

"Scott was able to execute his pitches," said Boston manager Ed Caskin. "Simple as that."
