Brewers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Orioles
The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Baltimore Orioles, 8-6. Doing his part was shortstop John McGraw, who was 2 for 4 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. The save went to Kyle Duxbury, his 5th this season. The 6th-place Brewers are 36-51.

Walt Preston had the most critical at-bat for Milwaukee. With one in the top of the 12th inning, Preston hit a 2-1 slider from Arlie Pond for a 2-run single. It put Milwaukee in front, 8-6.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Baltimore manager Pete Fries.
